"This house is clean."
"Where we're going? We don't need roads."As a kid in 1985, I learned a lot from Back to the Future. I learned you can measure things in jigawatts. I learned that Libyans really don't like it when you jack them for their plutonium. I learned that you just don't call some people "chicken," that Alex P. Keaton went back in time and invented Rock & Roll, that crashing a car into a truck full of poop will never not be funny, and most of all, I learned about the power... of love. All that high-minded intellectualism aside, Back to the Future is just a whole hell of a lot of fun. It feels like a mutual fever dream by Bob Gale and Bob Zemeckis, conjured while crashed out in detention for shooting spitwads at the Principal. Time travel, mad scientists, a badass car that sets the pavement on fire and breaks all known laws of reality when it hits 88 mph? What's not to love? Friday, November 2nd, cortandfatboy finally pull this automatic crowd-pleaser from their deck of pop-culture classics and slap it up on the Bagdad's big screen, starring Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd, Lea Thompson, and Crispin Glover.
