Space Shuttle Endeavor's Final Launch
Get a front-row seat to watch the final launch of NASA's space shuttle, Endeavor. We will show the lift-off live via satellite on NASA TV in the planetarium beginning at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, April 29, with the shuttle's launch scheduled at 12:47 p.m. Admission to the televised launch is free and seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. During space shuttle Eneavour's final spaceflight, the STS-134 crew members will deliver Express Logistics Carrier-3 (ELC-3) and the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer-2 (AMS), spare parts, a high-pressure gas tank, additional spare parts for Dextre and micrometeoroid debris shields to the International Space Station. This will be the 36th shuttle mission to the station and the 134th flight of the Space Shuttle program, which began on April 12, 1981.
