Book release reception, discussion, and signing of Conversations at Warp Speeed, the new collection of interviews by Portland writer Anthony Wynn, featuring conversations with actors and other personalities associated with the various incarnations of “Star Trek”.
The interviewees include actors George Takei (Sulu), James Doohan (Scotty), Robin Curtis (Saavik), and Grace Lee Whitney (Yeoman Janice Rand). The book also features interviews with the creator of "Star Trek" himself, Gene Roddenberry.
Special guests at the event (also featured in the book) are local and longtime “Star Trek” aficionados Marlene Daab and Carol Jennings. Light refreshments will be served.
