Saturday & Sunday, August 11 & 12 at 3:30pm - Sesame Street at 40
This best-of compilation features dozens of classic moments in the forty-year history of the show, including excerpts from the first episode, celebrity guests (Lily Tomlin, Ben Stiller, Liam Neeson, James Gandolfini, Robert De Niro), narrative milestones like the perfectly handled death of Mr. Hooper, and some of the best bits from Bert and Ernie, Big Bird, Snuffleupagus, Oscar the Grouch, and the rest of the gang. Music was always an integral part of The Muppet Show, and we have assembled a collection of some of the classic musical numbers interpreted as only the Muppets can: from "Mah Nà Mah Nà", to the repertoire of Dr. Teeth And The Electric Mayhem, to musical guest stars like Harry Belafonte, Elton John, Linda Ronstadt, and many more.
