Sweetwater Farm presents Sienna Morris' new Numberism work!
Sienna Morris is the world's first Numberism Artist, drawing realistic images entirely with numbers and formulas using pen, pencil and as etchings on scratchboard or glass. Her series on Math and Science illustrates the world around us, drawn with the underlying mathematical and scientific data responsible for the subject’s beauty or function. These works offer Morris a learning experience while celebrating with others the beauty of the mathematical world.
The Third Friday Solo show features a large collection of Morris' new work, spanning both the large and smaller galleries, featuring Morris' new hand-etched glass etchings and light-reactive works along with a collection of her drawings and scratchboard etchings. Guests will enjoy watching Sienna at work via a large projector showing time lapse footage of her work in progress. These videos compress weeks to months of Numberisming down to a few engaging minutes.
