Sarah Silverman has been described as a smiling stun gun masquerading as a Nice Jewish Girl (Vanity Fair). She got her start in the '90s as a writer for Saturday Night Live, before she moved on to the Larry Sanders Show and the HBO program, Mr. Show with Bob and David. She has been featured in the films Bulworth, There's Something About Mary, The Bachelor, School of Rock, and School for Scoundrels.
In 2005, Sarah released her own feature film, Jesus is Magic, to rave reviews. She followed up the film with her own show, The Sarah Silverman Program, on Comedy Central.Sarah recently published a memoir, entitled The Bedwetter, and is currently on a multi-city live stand up tour. She will next be seen in the film Peep World, opposite Michael C. Hall and Rainn Wilson.
