Joe Sacco comes to the Multnomah County Central Library to discuss his most recent work Footnotes in Gaza!
Sacco is internationally known for his journalistic comics, including Palestine, which won the American Book Award and Safe Area Gorazde, which won the Eisner Award and Time Magazine's best comic book of 2000. His work has been translated into 14 languages and has appeared in magazines, like Harper's, Time and Details. He is a current resident of Portland.
