Created as the complement and balance to Faerieworlds that now opens the summer season on Solstice Weekend in June, Harvest is a celebration of the rich bounty of the earth and the valued, nourishing relationships we all enjoy in our lives. Here in the Willamette Valley in Eugene, Oregon, we enjoy an extraordinary cornucopia of organic produce from the land and sea, much of which comes to it's perfect ripeness in September. The air is crisp and clean with a hint of the coming Autumn, the days are cool and bright and the nights longer and bright with stars: the perfect festival camping experience.
At Harvest, the Faerieworlds community gathers in a communal feast to enjoy the best of our local, food, wine, beer and of course, our extraordinary arts and crafts, within an intimate festival village atmosphere around the Standing Stones. Together we will enjoy nature's bounty, shop our Mythic Marketplace, listen to amazing bands from around the country and across the world, and dance around a bonfire that celebrates the passing of the Summer Sun and welcomes the arrival of the Autumn Equinox. But most important, we will recognize and honor the friends and relationships that bind us to each other and create this wonderful inspiring, Faerieworlds community.
