Rose City Steampunks Annual Picnic

Penninsula Park Community Center, 700 N. Rosa Parks Way

Rose City Steampunks are having their annual picnic on Aug. 20th at Penninsula Park from 1 pm to 4 pm. All steamy folk, seasoned or newbee, are encouraged to come enjoy an afternoon at the park. If you're new never fear, new folk are always appreciated and its a great way to get acquainted! Feel free/encouraged to come in costume if you have one, but if you don't yet its okay too.

This historic park, acquired by the city in 1909 has a formal rose garden and is a great place to have a picnic and play some lawn games. Meet up on the grass between the community center and the gazebo and sunken rose garden. Bring blankets and chairs and food for your party, plus maybe something to share if you are so inclined.
