Portland's Gaslight Explorers, Adventurers, & Romantics Convention (Portland GEAR Con) is a celebration of steampunk & neo-Victoriana in the Pacific Northwest.
Consort with fellow enthusiasts; attend presentations and workshops by authors and other steampunk community luminaries; shop for costumes, props, and other para-industrial paraphernalia; enjoy musical and variety performances, and much more.
By day, attend author readings and panels by such luminaries as Cherie Priest, M.K. Hobson, Diana Vick, Jordan Bodewell, Jaymee Goh, and many, many others.
At night, enjoy musical entertainment and variety performance by Vagabond Opera, Vernian Process with Unwoman, the Wanderlust Circus, Professor Gall, Veronique Chevalier, and, all the way from New York City, Fein and Dandee!
