Combining 80′s arcade classics with live 8-bit inspired music, it’s the newest craze hitting the nation (and by nation we mean… just here).. Arcade-O-Vision is an interactive concert that champions the joystick and bubblegum arcade of yesteryear while bringing local bands to soundtrack the games live.
First up will be a screening of the 1990 movie Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. If you never saw it in theater in 1990, now is the chance!
Then the main even begins! Arcade-O-Vision is a simple premise: playing old arcade games on a 30 foot screen with a live band (Lvls 1-3: Electric Opera Company, Lvls 4-6: Cosmic Fluke). Everyone will get to play and folks swap out with every life and there are prizes for the highest single quarter score of the evening (all prizes by Ground Kontrol).
