The Unscriptables, Portland's premier unscripted theatre troupe, is proud to announce the return of their highly successful show "USS Improvise".
"USS Improvise, the Musical" is a fully improvised, made-up-on-the-spot "lost" episode of the original Star Trek, complete with the characters, costumes, props, and sound effects you know and love. They take a few suggestions from the audience, and then, right before your eyes, create a brand new episode of this great TV science fiction classic. And as if that wasn't enough, they have made it a musical! That's right, they will be making up songs throughout, with the help of their eminently talented keyboardist.
Get ready to see your favorite classic characters as you've never seen them before. Ever dreamed of seeing Kirk sing a love duet with an Andorian princess? Or Scotty sing a little ditty about the joys of transporter travel? How about the sad goodbye song of the Redshirt who got too close to that carnivorous alien plant? This show may be just what you've been waiting for.
Ticket price is "Pay what you Want". The Unscriptables have decided that they want to make quality live theatre accessible to all. Therefore, you can pay any amount you want to as the admission price to our show. C'mon, that's a deal that'd make a Ferengi blush. Show is rated PG13
